Mexican artist graduated from the Umbria School of Art, Italy, Carlos Jorge is known for his large-scale paintings strongly influenced by Mayan architecture and numerology. The elements that distinguish his work have their origin in the respect for nature that characterized the construction of buildings in pre-Hispanic Mesoamerica.
"It is fascinating how, by using minimal resources, a person can build something beautiful. Today, to reduce costs, anything is destroyed."
Carlos participated in solo and group exhibitions in Mérida (Mexico) and Miami.
