BLANX was born out of a debate. I was invited to speak at Kellogg, my alma mater, and Ariel Bacal approached me with an incisive question. We had a short conversation, then we had a beer, then we had a Zoom call, and then we were partners.
Three years later, we have designed over 30 sneakers together and shipped them to more than 8 cities worldwide. We have a roster of extraordinary collaborators from almost every creative field: illustrators, industrial designers, filmmakers, musicians, collage makers, book editors and urban artists.
We aspire to change the world one step at time. Sneakers are a vehicle of self-expression which is a condition for freedom of speech. What we wear can ignite meaningful conversations. We show what matters, one sneaker at a time. Walk with us, stay tuned.
